Hospital Introduction

Fatemeh Masoumeh Educational and Therapeutic Center started in 1931 as the Thalassemia Center of Qom.In 1978, Fatemeh_Sahamieh Children's Hospital, adjacent to Qom University of Medical Sciences, started its activities.The center had 6 separate departments including infectious and pulmonary (internal ,heart and brain) nerves, pediatric, neonatal, internal and emergency.It also covered extensive paraclinical services in the fields (laboratories, radiology, ultrasound, electrocardiography, electroencephalography and endoscopy).In February 2009, the children's hospital was transferred to the former Khorami Hospital building and with the same name began its educational activity with the support of Qom University of Medical Sciences.The center initially consisted of child-related departments, with the addition of 36 active beds in the Gynecology Surgery Unit in 2010, providing services to compatriots and neighboring provinces. The center offers specialized activities in the fields of endocrinology, infectious diseases, gastrointestinal, neurology, nephrology, oncology and neonatal.At the beginning of 2015, the Gynecology and Obstetrics Department became a pediatric hospital in Qom province.Paraclinic Services Center is ready to serve with qualified physicians and experts in nutrition consulting, laboratory, ultrasound, electrocardiography, electrocardiography, radiology and physiotherapy.
